Is there anyone in the US - Prime Contracts Executive / Prime Contracts Manager

I need to find this person. Can anyone help?

Responsible for negotiating prime contracts in project finance transactional environments, focused on engineering, construction and procurement (EPC) and long term independent power producer (IPP) contracts, as well as associated partnership (joint venture, project development) agreements; while assessing and managing business risks both at external and internal level.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To represent a renewable energy company and to be directly involved in bidding and contract negotiations with clients and other stakeholders.
  • To review and analyze bidding and contractual documentation with a focus on technical guarantees (completion, performance).
  • To assess business risks and to inform and seek approval from corporate and board levels before bid submission and contract execution.
  • During bid preparation: to liaise with other functions (planning, finance, operations, commercial, etc) as the key point of contact regarding contractual (prime contracts) and partnerships provisions; and to support sourcing and procurement of major subcontracts.
  • To prepare internal reports to headquarters (team and corporate levels)


Qualifications, Experience, and key skills:
  • Requires a 4 year bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Contract negotiations experience, preferably within infrastructure or engineering and construction industries
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written level; and ability to communicate at different levels as well as with different functions (engineers, lenders, technical advisers, etc.)
  • Self motivated, proactive and trustworthy professional with the ability to operate on his/her own without direct supervision (an initial 6 month transition period is envisaged and will then report to headquarters in Spain)
  • Availability to travel (USA and LATAM)
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus
