Headhunting Harder Than It Looks - Plant Manager N. Africa

Right at this moment, I am trying to headhunt for a Plant Manager in Combined Cycle Power Plants or Renewable Energy to work in North Africa.

It is a complicated task. Firstly, you can't just phone up a power plantand ask who is available. Often the names are rpotected or confidential due to security issues. On top of that, often these types of people are away at engineering project sites, so are often not at their desks, and if in a gas powered power station, are probably not carrying nor using their mobile phone.

So the challange is to get contact details. LinkedIn has very few, and all the associations, institutions and professional bodies protect their lists like a new-born baby.

So where do I go? Comment below with an idea please.
